Mexico

Chuy and I were approached from several
street vendors while diving through Guadalajara Mexico. This one
was trying to sell us parrots.
Me getting a crash course on how to prepare
cactus. We later grilled this on an open flame and boy were they
good! I did have a "few" stickers in my hands though.
Going through a small town outside Cocula
Mexico we ran across this woman making and selling tortillas
outside her door. I tell you, nothing like home made
tortillas!!!
When I was there it was sugar cane picking
season. Here is one of many trucks we saw carrying the raw
sugar.
The entire "family" at the Comichines foster
home.
The kitchen in the foster home at Comichines
One of the walls in the foster home. The
walls are covered in these wonderful paintings containing
scripture, in Spanish of course.
Hannah, one of the children at the foster
home. So cute I was going to take her home in my suitcase with
me!
